non-carbon homonuclear monocyclic parent hydrides, the Hantzsch–Widman name is
preferred for rings with 3 t o 1 0 m embers. For larger rings, the names given b y t he second
method are used. For more detailed rules on large-ring parent hydrides, s ee Section P-22.2
of Ref. 1.
