Review of key output, dissemination and accessibility or use
135. Experiences in many countries confirm that the more accessible the data are
to users, the better interactions between data producers and users. This in turn helps
shape information systems to meet user needs in terms of new information demands.
Such interactions also contribute to scrutiny and critical review of the quality of data and
more importantly to broaden the scope of data and indicators provided to users. One of
the end goals of the whole chain of production of statistical data is to provide
comprehensive and useful information to the policymakers to facilitate and support their
decision-making process.
