designation, sex, salary subvention status, and approved posts. Number of
teaching staff by subject and designation is also collected for college
education;
• Performance measures: results of national public examinations;
• Community service information;
• Financial information: reserve fund, general fund, income by source and
expenditure by head;
• Asset information: furniture, equipment, tools, machinery; and
• GIS information: situation of institution, distance from major places, location,
etc.
110. The secondary school questionnaire consists of eight pages and is self-
explanatory. The questionnaire for secondary school makes it possible to collect
information relating to three cycles of education:
• Primary (grades 1 to 5 together) for enrolment only
• Lower secondary (grades 6 to 8)
• Upper secondary – two classes (grades 9 and 10)
111. The college questionnaire consists of 10 pages. This questionnaire makes it
possible to collect information relating to the following cycles:
• Upper secondary (grades 11 and 12)
• First degree of tertiary level leading to advance research
• Second degree of tertiary level leading to advance research
112. The Madrasah questionnaire consists of 10 pages and makes it possible to
collect information relating to the following levels:
• Primary (grades 1 to 5 together) for enrolment only
• Lower secondary (grades 6 to 8)
• Upper secondary (grades 9 to 12)
• First degree of tertiary level not leading to advance research
• Second degree of tertiary level not leading to advance research
113. The technical-vocational and professional education questionnaire
encompasses most of the elements of the secondary school, Madrasah and colleges
except information on physical facilities. The university questionnaire elaborates on
description of the university, establishment date, enrolment by programme (and grade
level) and subject, teachers’ strength by subject and designation, accommodation
facilities for teaching staff and students, and examination result by subjects. Financial
information and other areas are not covered in the university questionnaire.
114. The technical-vocational institution questionnaire makes it possible to collect
