Presently BANSDOC Library renders the following information services :
Readers Service :
- Books (Local and Foreign);
- Journals/Periodicals (Foreign and Indigenous);
- Thesis (Local);
- Newspapers (National Dailies).
BANSDOC Mobile Library Service
- To create awareness and to provide library and information services among the
science students
Reference Service
Referral Service and
SDI Service.
Photocopy Service: To provide necessary pages of books and journals as per users
requirements.
Current Awareness Service (CAS): To provide 170 R&D and academic organizations of the
country which are related with science and technology and information & communication
technology. The breakup of the 170 organizations made into seven broader groups as follows:
Computer Science and Mathematics 25 Organizations
Earth & Environmental Science 32 Organizations
Agriculture, Botany and Food Science 34 Organizations
Medical Science 12 Organizations
Life Science 20 Organizations
Engineering and Technology 29 Organizations
Physics and Chemistry 18 Organizations
BANSDOC Library delivered them the photocopy of all the content pages of recently
procured journals on quarterly basis through Current Awareness Service (CAS).
