                                         In it are results showing the laws of refrac-
                                         tion, with tables of its amount, the max-
                                         imum value of aberration, and other con-
                                         stants.
                                            Bradley was succeeded by Bliss, and he
                                         by Maskelyne (1765), who carried on ex-
